Family Mass

What is the Family Mass?
Family Mass is held on the first Sunday of each month, at 10:00 a.m.  The purpose is to give children and their families a greater sense of participation in the Sunday Mass.  All families are encouraged to attend this Mass.

How does it work?
The planning and preparation for each Family Mass is conducted by grade level.  Scripture readings are distributed in advance of the planning meeting, so that children and parents may reflect on them.  The planning meeting is open to all grade-level participants and their parents.  In addition to the planning meeting, there is a mandatory rehearsal for all parties.  A schedule is distributed at the beginning of each school year.  A reminder, will be distributed to each class providing the planning meeting, rehearsal and date of the Family Mass for that particular grade-level.
