IRIS (Immediate Response Information System) is our emergency broadcast system
used to send real-time emergency messaging to parents and staff. With the IRIS program, Transfiguration School is able to
communicate important messages such as, school closings or delays or other important announcements, to parents in a matter
of seconds via phone calls and email. In addition, school administrators can segment and broadcast messages to parents and
staff by grades and other specific groups. The IRIS program offers a wide-range of benefits. - Communicate with
parents in seconds
- Imports parent contact information from SIS
- Send messages to specific grades or other
desired subgroups
- Firewall prevents unauthorized access
- Enhances emergency preparedness program
In order to implement an effective system, parents and guardians are required to provide contact information. Please complete
the IRIS form, found on the QuickLink, and return it to school. Parents and guardians are asked to inform the school office
of any changes to contact information.
