When are the drawings held? A drawing takes place every day for the first
three months of 2010, and all winning tickets are reentered for remaining drawings! How are winnings awarded? Winners will have
checks mailed directly to them. Have the buyer fill out his or her name and address, completely. How should I make out a check? Checks should be made out to Transfiguration Parents' Guild. How do I obtain additional tickets? To purchase or sell additional tickets,
contact the school office.
To meet my fundraising obligations,
how can I receive credit for selling a raffle ticket? Be sure to put your family name
on each ticket, as the seller. Return all 15 tickets and the $150 in the original envelope. This is important for tracking
purposes. Is this a mandatory fundraiser? Yes, the Calendar
Raffle and the $20,000 Spring Raffle are the two fundraisers that school families are obligated to support.
When do the Calendar Raffle
tickets go on sale? Transfiguration School
Calendar Raffle tickets are on sale now from October 26 through December 31, 2009. Are all school families required to participate in this fundraiser? Fundraising enables the Parents' Guild to support our school
and our children, and participating in our Fall Calendar Raffle is part of each family's obligation to these fundraising
efforts. How
many tickets is each family obligated to sell? Each school family receives 15 calendar-raffle tickets that cost
$10 each. Families may choose to buy all 15 tickets, or sell them to neighbors, co-workers, family or friends. Can students sell raffle tickets? Students should never sell door to door, unless they are with a parent or other adult. How much do the raffle tickets cost? Each ticket is only $10, and gives the buyer 90 chances to win more than $7,000 in prize money.
