Transfiguration School provides students with a structured religious and academic education program stressing the tenets of our Catholic faith—service to others; value of worship; and the ability to make responsible, Christian decisions based on moral values. In our pursuit of excellence, Transfiguration School has created a student-centered learning institution that provides the children with a challenging academic environment within a caring and nurturing atmosphere, recognizing and respecting the individual differences of each student.

Accredited by MSCES
Transfiguration School has been awarded full accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Already meeting NYS Education Dept. Standards, accreditation by the Middle States Commission is a voluntary process, which validates that the school has met even more rigorous standards than those required. MSCES accreditation standards reflect current research and best practices from throughout the education profession. During the term of accreditation the school engaged in a Commission-directed series of reports and site visits to maintain the vigor of the accreditation process.

The Middle States Association is the second-oldest regional accreditor in the United States. Accreditation by MSCES is recognized around the world as an indication of trustworthiness, educational quality and a commitment to on going school improvement.
