Transfiguration School

St. Patrick's Day Parade March 14, 2010

Each year, Transfiguration School proudly marches in the Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow St. Patrick's Day Parade.  This year we are especially proud to have a former Faculty member, Gloria Agro, as an aide in the parade.  We invite all parents and students to join us this year to show Mrs. Agro our support.

The parade begins on Main Street in Tarrytown and heads north on Route 9 (Broadway) to Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow. The parade continues down Beekman Avenue and ends after passing the reviewing stand.

Parents of students in grades Pre-K through 5th march with them, or give written permission indicating who will be marching and assuming responsibility for their child/ren during the march.

In the event of rain, please check the school voice mail (631-3737) or the school website for information.  We will not march in heavy rains.

The children are asked to wear their school uniform, because it is easy to identify our students and the uniforms are a great green color!

There is limited parking available behind the police station near the train station, at Morse School parking lot, and at Sleepy Hollow High School. Car pooling is highly recommended.

It is always a great day!

St. Patrick's Parade form is due Wednesday, March 10th
