Transfiguration School, a vibrant part of Transfiguration Parish, was founded in 1949 by the Carmelite Fathers. Their mission—to provide students with the highest-quality academic and spiritual education—has become our tradition. The belief that academic excellence in an environment of faith produces competent, caring Christians, continues to be fundamental to our success. Today, Transfiguration School is regarded as one of Westchester's finest elementary schools.

Congratulations to our recent graduates.  What a wonderful ceremony it was and what a treat it was to have Tommy Zollo, Class of 2003, come back and speak to the graduates.  Tommy spoke about the gift of having received a Catholic education at Transfiguration.  As a Regis scholar and Harvard University undergrad, Tommy embodies the Transfiguration mission to enable each child to reach their fullest potential.  Best wishes to the Class of 2009.
